Bound in cloth with gilt lettering. Complete in three volumes. This work is a detailed history of the Bronx, the famous borough of New York city. Several chapters included are Settlements by Europeans, Political Status of the Territory, Education, and The World War, whilst the third volume includes biographies of eminent figures featured in the history of the Bronx.

Condition

In a cloth binding. Externally, very smart with slight wear to extremities. Internally, generally firmly bound, with only the frontispiece of volume 1 detached, but present. Pages generally clean and bright, with slight age toning and occasional spot. Small closed tear to bottom of page 4/5, volume 4.
