A limited edition collection of the poetry of Alfred Edgar Coppard, an English writer known for his poetry and short stories. This copy is number 136 out of 500 copies. 

Containing charming illustrations by Wharton Esherick. Esherick was a well-known American sculptor who worked primarily with wood, creating bespoke utilitarian furniture. 

Signed by both the author and illustrator to the limitations page. 

The first edition of this work, enclosed in the original slipcase.

Condition

In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. Externally, lovely, with just a touch of darkening to the spine. Original slipcase is in good condition and has general shelf wear and bumping. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
