The photographs are taken from the omonimous silent documentary by Arnold Fanck, which was first showed in 1919/20, and can be considered the first full length documentary in the world.
Condition
in the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally excellent with only slight shelfwear. The front free endpaper is slightly creased vertically. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Profusely illustrated throughout with various photographs in black and white, and a series of one hundred and twenty six lines of cinematographic images on loose sheets to the rear. Collated, complete.
