A 1926 eighth edition of Webster's New International Dictionary of the English Language which is based on the international Dictionary of 1890 and 1900 with the editor in chief being W. T. Harris.

With four plates and a frontispiece, many in-text illustrations and from page 2551-2620 of pictorial illustrations.
Collated, complete.

Condition

In half calf with cloth covered boards. Externally, very smart with some rubbing to the extremities and spine. Previous owner bookplate and inscription for Charles Hall Woodhouse to the front pastedown. Front hinge is starting but remains firm. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
