Publishers' Original Binding

This is a copy of the Noel Douglas replicas of William Shakespeare's Sonnets.

This book reproduces the Quarto published probably without Shakespeare's authorisation in 1609. The copy that is reproduced within this volume is that which is in the British Museum at the time of publishing in 1926.

Condition

In the publisher's original hardback binding. Externally, very smart with some fading to the boards and spine. Previous owner inscription to the front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
