Samuel Pepys's diaries are recognised to this day as an important primary source for the Restoration period as they contain personal revelations and a witness of important events, such as the Great Plague of London, the Second Dutch War, and the Great Fire of London.

Condition
In the original publisher's uniform full cloth bindings. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only, lightly bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
