    Description

    First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

    Split into four parts covering: 'The Stalker', 'The Rifle', 'The Forest' and 'Stalking Days'.

    Written under the pseudonym 'An Old Stalker', with a foreword by Eric Parker; a prior owner has identified an old stalker as David Taylor. 

    With the ownership bookplate of Ian A. Ewing to the front pastedown.

    Illustrated with four sketch maps and eight plates besides. Collated, complete.

    A first edition of this work. 

    Condition

    In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally very smart, with just a little bumping to the head and tail of the spine and the odd spot to the boards. Ownership bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound, bar a slight strain to the binding at the first part. Pages have just the odd spot.
