Written by Montague Rhodes James, an English author, medievalist scholar and provost of King's College, Cambridge and Eton College. Castles, 1926. First edition, first impression. A detailed guide to Castles across the U. Condition

In the original quarter cloth binding with paper covered boards. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and rubbing to the extremities. The odd mark to the board and light chipping to the extremities of Abbeys. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with light spotting to the first and last few pages.
