By H. de Watteville, who did not serve on the North-Western Frontier of India, but researched this work thorough with help of those who did serve.

Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart, with some light markings to the boards and spine. Spine is a little faded. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Small torn label to the tail of the spine. Bookplate to the front paste down. Front endpaper has been excised. Light spots to the endpapers. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with some scattered spots.
