What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

A very scarce catalogue published by German musical instrument manufacturer Max Adler in 1925. In this near fine work, the descriptions are printed in English, French, German, and Italian. The 25th catalogue published by the firm comprises descriptions and illustrations of a huge range of instruments and their various accessories. Alongside traditional orchestral instruments, the catalogue includes an interesting range of Zithers, and the now rare Normaphone which has the valves of a brass instrument but the shape of a saxophone. Undated. Dated using worldcat from a copy held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Condition

In the publisher's original red paper binding. Externally, very smart, with some marginal wear to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages lightly age toned but clean throughout.
