The first edition of this work. A fishing work intended for use where the Great Western Railway is established, including the Thames, Devon and Cornwall, Somerset, Warwickshire, and Gloucestershire. Guiding for fishing in freshwater, river, lakes, and canals. Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, a folding plate and seventy plates, most colour or tinted. Written anonymously.

Condition

In the original paper wraps. Externally, generally smart. Light edgewear, resulting in some closed tears. Minor marks and discolouration to the wraps and spine. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with only a couple of light spots.
