An entertaining short story selection by P. G. Wodehouse, all featuring his character 'Ukridge', following him through numerous adventures in a total of ten stories. Each story is narrated by his long-suffering friend, writer Cocky Corcoran.

The character of Stanley Featherstonehaugh Ukridge is a charismatic opportunist, who will do anything (except work) to increase his capital.

Wodehouse was one of the most popular authors and humourists of the twentieth century.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. A few light marks to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Light marks to the paste downs. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with some odd spots.
