Robinson was an English journalist and story writer, specialising in naval matters due to his experiences and interest in the Royal Navy.
Densely illustrated with ninety six plates, twenty four of which are in colour. Collated, complete.
Pages vii-x are loose.
An ex-library book with the library book plate to the first pastedown, a barcode to the title page, and a library stamp to the publication page. Also includes to the first free endpaper a book plate indicating this book was bequeathed to the City of Rochester by the late Richard Frederick Brain.
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The spine is slightly faded. An ex-library book with the library book plate to the first pastedown and first free endpaper, a barcode to the title page, and a library stamp to the publication page. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages vii-x are loose. The pages are bright and clean with the odd spot.
