A pictorial record of Indonesia in the 1920s and a brief history of the Dutch empire. This work followed a Memorial book in Dutch and Melay regarding the Dutch East-Indies which was extremely popular.

A very smart work.

With chapters on the people, religion, agriculture, trade, industry and means of communication in the Dutch East-Indies.

Condition

In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding, with paper covered boards. Externally, very smart, with light rubbing to the extremities. A few marks to boards. Prior owner's inscription to the recto of front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.

Overall: Very Good Indeed
