Flaubert was a nineteenth century French novelist, recognised as the leading exponent of literary realism. He is best known for his debut novel Madame Boveray.
Illustrated by Robert Diaz de Soria with twelve beautiful colour plates. Collated, complete.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The spine is slightly faded and the front joint is slightly cracked. The hinges are strained but firm. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the odd spot.
