Description
With the bookplate of John Stafford Reid Byers to the recto of front endpaper. The armorial crest has three bees, with the motto 'Marte Suo Tutus' to a scroll below the bookplate. Another bookplate to the front pastedown, 'C H S John Hornby'.

Printed at the Shakespeare Head Press in Stratford-upon-Avon from a copy printed by Thomas Creede in 1597. Composited by Albert Kendrick, W.W Dyer, John Williams, Henry Edmonds, John Johnson and Alfred Cull.

Condition
In a quarter cloth binding, with paper covered boards. Externally, very smart. Minor shelfwear to the head and tail of spine. Bookplates to the front pastedown and to the recto of front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
