This is the first edition, first impression of John Buchan's The Last Secrets: The Final Mysteries of Exploration, published in September 1923.

The book contains an account of the achievements in exploration in the first two decades of the twentieth century. 

Illustrated with twelve plate illustrations and ten maps. 
Collated, complete.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. The boards and spine are faded and there is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine. There is previous owner inscription to the front free endpaper and a bookseller sticker to the rear free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound with bright clean pages.
