What Our Customers Say...
First Edition, Uncommon, With Dustwrapper
With publisher's advertisements to the rear of the work. The first edition of the work. Uncommon, in the particularly scarce unclipped dust wrapper. The second series, covering the period between 1894 and 1901. Written by Sir James Rennell Rodd, a British diplomat who served as British Ambassador to Italy during the First World War.
In the original red cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally in excellent condition with minor shelf wear to the extremities. Offsetting to endpapers. Dust wrapper is smart with chipping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Sunning to the spine of the wrap. The odd spot and handling marks to the wrap. Internally firmly bound. Generally bright and clean, with the odd spot, slightly heavier to the fore edge.
