In a half calf school prize binding over cloth covered boards, with five raised bands and gilt to the top edge. Externally sound with minor shelf wear and some rubbing to the spine and extremities. A touch of sunning to the spine. With a 'Form VII Hood' slip tipped in to the front free endpaper, inscribed 'M S J Hood For Prize Form VII' to its verso, dated 1926. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Featuring a frontispiece portrait of the author.
