Lacking the frontispiece. A comprehensive book regarding common diseases and illnesses for dogs, with a guide to their treatment. Written by Dr. Georg Muller, Professor Director of the Clinic for Small Animals at the Veterinary High School at Dresden, and Alexander Glass, Professor of canine medicine in the veterinary department of the University of Pennsylvania. Alongside a letter from the Central Research Institute in Kasauli, India for one 'Pybus', detailing information about tapeworms for dogs and the best treatment. With the previous owner's ink inscription to the front free endpaper and a bookseller's label to the rear paste-down.
Condition
In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with shelf wear to the edges and marks to the boards. Fraying and tears to the upper spine. Hinges are strained. Bookseller's label to the rear paste-down. Previous owner's ink signature to the front free endpaper. Age-toning to the paste-downs and free endpapers. Light offsetting to the front free endpaper. Internally, binding firm. Pages age-toned but otherwise generally bright and clean with just the odd spot.
