The first edition of this work, one of a limitation of five hundred copies printed, the present number one-hundred-and-sixteen. A descriptive and pictorial account of Spain by Roger Fry, who shares notes and impressions taken by him during his travels in the country. Concerning Spanish language and art, and descriptions of cities such as Madrid, Segovia, Salamanca, Pamplona. 

Accompanied by sixteen full page plates after sketches by the author. Collated, complete.

Condition

In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding over pictorial boards. Externally generally sound with some shelf wear and bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities, some soiling and marking to the boards, with minor chipping to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Illustrated with sixteen full page plates in black and white. Collated, complete.
