Scarce in dustwrapper, unclipped. The first edition of this thorough study on British Hemiptera-Heteroptera, also known as "true bugs" including a group of circa 40000 species of insects. Illustrated throughout.



Condition

In the publisher's original brown cloth binding, with the Heteroptera illustration stamped in gilt to front board and titles stamped in gilt to spine. Externally very smart, with minor shelfwear and slight bumping to head and tail of spine and extremities. Slight handling marks to read board. Dustwrapper is smart with slight closed tears and minor chipping to spine as well as minor puncture mark to front wrap. Internally. firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Small publisher's sticker to front pastedown and archive copy stamp to title page. Complete with sixty illustrations.
