Condition
In the original publisher's brown cloth with titles stamped in gilt to spine. Externally very smart with minor shelfwear. Slight bumping to head and tail of spine. Whitestock Hall bookplate dated august 1924 to front pastedown to 'The Outdoor World' volume. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. The occasional page left unopened to a number of volumes. Complete with frontispiece and five hundred and forty nine illustrations and eighteen plates to 'The Outdoor World', two hundred and forty one illustrations to 'Butterflies and Moths', sixteen colour plates and one hundred and twenty illustrations to 'British Birds', eight colour plates and three hundred and eleven illustrations to 'Life in Ponds and Streams', forty nine colour plates and three hundred and thirteen illustrations to 'The Sea Shore', and fifty one colour plates and two hundred and twenty five illustrations to 'Field and Woodland Plants.'
