A collection of nine works surrounding the First World War, written in French from the perspective of French and German authors.

Uniformly bound in a smart half calf, with cloth to the boards.

Comprised of the following:

'Souvenirs de Guerre du Kronprinz' (1923), translated into French from the original German by Mabille, Mollard and Rusterholtz. With three maps.

'La Stratégie Allemande pendant la Guerre de 1914-1918' (1929), written by Wolfgang Foerster, translated from German into French vby L. Koeltz. With twelve maps.

'Le Plan de Campagne Français et le Premier Mois de la Guerre' (1929) by General Lanrezac. With eight maps and one photograph.

'La Bataille de Verdun' (1929), by Marechal Petain. With eight maps and eighteen photographs.

'Le Danger Aérien et l'Avenir du Pays' (1930), by Lieutenant-Colonel Vauthier. With seventeen illustrations.

'Documents Allemands sur la Bataille de la Marne' (1930), with the documents translated from German to French by L. Koeltz. With three maps.

'Orages D'Acier: Souvenirs du Front de France' (1930), by Ernst Junger, translated from German to French by F. Grenier.

'Mémoires pour Servir à l'Histoire de la Guerre de 1914-1918' in two volumes (1931), written by Marechal Foch. With sixteen maps and forty-four photographs across both volumes. Collated, complete.

Condition

Uniformly bound in a half calf, with cloth to the boards. Externally, excellent, with minor shelf wear. A little rubbing to the extremities, with a small patch of loss to the leather on 'Le Plan de Campagne Francais' and 'La Bataille de Verdun'. A touch of fading to the spine. Scattered spotting to endapers, with the odd spot to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean, with the occasional spot.
