This collection contains Robey's stories 'The Lady in Question', 'The Matchmaker', 'My Little Grey Home', 'My Motor-Bike', 'Sports I Have Met', 'Misunderstood' and 'A Friend Indeed'.

Sir George Edward Wade CBE (1869-1954), know as George Robey, was an English comedian, actor and musician known for being on of the most celebrated music hall artists of the turn of the century.

Illustrated with vignette cartoons.

An uncommon work, in an even scarcer dust wrapper.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally generally smart, with some discolouration to the tail of the spine, otherwise some minor wear. Dust wrapper is rather sunned to the spine, with chipping to the head and tail and a hole in the centre of the spine; there is occasional loss to it, but it is otherwise well-preserved. Internally firmly bound, pages are bright and clean.
