With ten previous titles listed to the verso of the title page indicating a later printing according to Mcilvaine A27a. Printed at the Athenaeum Printing Works.
Includes ten short stories with golfing themes including A Woman is Only a Woman, Ordeal by Golf and The Heel of Achilles.

Prior owner's name label to the front pastedown. No dust wrapper present.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. The green cloth is slightly faded. There is some bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. There is a mark to the back board. The front hinge is starting but firm. Prior owner's name label to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with occasional spotting.
