First Edition, Limited Edition, Very Scarce

Illustrated, with a portrait frontispiece of Thomas Runciman.

One of one hundred and fifty copies printed by hand at the Temple Sheen press, in March 1922. The colophon notes that this collection was printed for Walter Runciman. 

Walter Runciman writes the preface to this collection. He was a noted Liberal politician and descendant of the author of these poems. 

Several gatherings remain unopened to the top edge. 

In the publisher's original cloth binding, in a very bright condition. 

A scarce, beautifully presented poetry anthology. 

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelfwear to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. Minor offsetting to the endpapers. Otherwise, pages are very clean.
