First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding

First edition of Record of Service in the Great War 1914-18 in the original publisher's cloth binding. 

Published and presented by the London County Council. 

This issue dedicated to the memory of Captain L. Bately, with a presentation plate to the front pastedown. 

His record is on page 136, with a note from the prior owner's about his death. 


Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The hinges are slightly strained but firm. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean.
