A limited edition. Number XXX out of thirty copies produced on Japanese paper. A larger limitation of 310 copies on Holland paper was also produced, with this smaller limitation on Japanese paper being very scarce. 

Signed by the illustrator to the edition page. 

In the publisher's original paper covers with the original, very scarce glassine dust wrapper. 

Illustrated with a full colour frontispiece and four full colour, hand coloured watercolour illustrations by Louis Suire. Collated complete.

This very scarce limited edition play was written by The French poet and writer, Paul-Jean Toulet. The play, set during a dinner, features an array of interesting characters such as a Count, a butler and a poet and is accompanied by vibrant watercolour illustrations by Louis Suire, the noted French painter.

Condition

In the publisher's original paper covers with the original glassine dust wrapper. Externally smart with age toning, edge wear, rubbing to the joints and minimal loss to the head of the spine. The wrap is generally smart with loss to the head and tail of the spine, age toning and small closed tears to the extremities. Internally, binding starting in places. Pages age toned with the odd spot.
