What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

This is number 208 of this edition of 500 copies.

In French.

Albert Gleizes created 28 illustrations in 1910 to accompany this poem written by Mercereau in 1907.  Mercereau was inspired by an old shell collected in the grass of the Abbey of Creteil and wrote this poem.

The wood engravings were produced by Antoine-Pierre Gallien.

A fantastic depiction of early cubism.
