The very scarce first edition, first impression of this work, with the verso of the title page blank, and with four pages of advertisements to the rear.

Illustrated with a frontispiece and a number of full page monochrome illustrations by Thomas Henry.

A collection of twelve humorous short stories about a young schoolboy named William Brown, the notorious titular character of Richmal Crompton's 'Just William' series.

Retaining the original half title.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Bumping to back strip head and tail, with small losses of cloth to tail. Discolouration to spine, and head of front board. Handling mark to fore edge of text block. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
