The first edition of these works.

'The King's Grace' in the original unclipped dustwrapper.

A selection of three non-fiction history and biographical works by John Buchan.

'A Book of Escapes and Hurried Journeys', published in 1922. Illustrated with a frontispiece, and seven plates. Collated, complete.

'Sir Walter Scott', published in 1932. Illustrated with a frontispiece.

'The King's Grace 1910-1935', published in 1935. Illustrated with a colour frontispiece, and two monochrome plates.

'The Book Society' bookplate to the front pastedown of 'Sir Walter Scott'.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth bindings, 'The King's Grace' in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities. Minor marks to the boards and spines, with a little rubbing to the spine of 'A Book of Escapes'. Spots to the fore edges. 'A Book of Escapes' front hinge is strained. Bookplate to the front pastedown of 'Sir Walter Scott'.'The King's Grace' dustwrapper is lightly edgeworn with some chips to the head and tail of the spine, and tears to the folds, with tape repairs to the reverse. Minor discolouration and some spots to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound, though 'A Book of Escapes' is generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with some spots. 'Sir Walter Scott' is uncut to the fore edge.
