First edition. Illustrated with many photographs and diagrams throughout. Binder's label of Charles Thurnam and Sons to front pastedown.

Condition

In a cloth binding. Externally, sound, though with some bumping, and cocking to the spine. Some rubbing to the boards and spine. Internally, generally firmly bound although strained in places. Front hinge is a little strained. Ink signature to front endpaper. Pages are bright, and generally clean, though with a few handling marks.
