The first edition, first impression, of this work from A. A. Milne, best known for the creation of the beloved anthropomorphic bear Winnie-the-Pooh.

A selection of the essays, poems, and short stories of A. A. Milne, written for adults, and originally published in 'Punch' a magazine, where he later became Assistant Editor.

This volume was published in the same year as Milne's first 'Winne-the-Pooh' work.

With eight pages of publisher's adverts to the rear.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Fading to back strip, with bumping to spine head and tail. Fading towards tail of front board. Light spotting to fore edge of text block. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
