The first edition, first impression, of this work.

A selection of the essays, poems, and short stories by A. A. Milne, originally published in 'Punch'.

Milne is best known for his creation of the iconic character Winnie-the-Pooh. This volume was published in the same year as the first 'Winne-the-Pooh' work.

Eight pages of publisher's adverts to the rear.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with some marks to the boards and spine. Spine is a little discoloured. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and generally clean with some odd spots.
