First edition. Scarce work. With a frontispiece. Set in the early twentieth century, this historical novel tells of the experiences of a white man in North Africa who is drugged and kidnapped from the bazaar. Written by Harold Albert Lamb, an American writer, novelist, historian, and screenwriter.

Condition

In the original red cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Minor fading to the spine and the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot. Contemporary ink inscription to the front pastedown.
