Written by Admiral Edward Ratcliffe Garth Russell Evans, a Royal Navy officer and Antarctic explorer.

Condition

In the original full crushed morocco binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear and fading to the spine. Original card slip case is smart with light shelf wear, minor bumping and the odd tide mark. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. With contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper.
