    First Edition, Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding

    The first edition. In the original full cloth binding. With an illustrated frontispiece and numerous vignette illustrations by Cecily Daubeny, and sixteen full page plates of photographs by the author. Collated complete. An interesting and educational account of the ancient churches in the Cotswolds area. With notes on floor-plans, architecture and history. Including the areas of Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold and the Coln Valley.

    Condition

    In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with some shelf wear to the extremities and bumping to the spine. Offsetting to the free endpapers, Internally, firmly bound. Pages very bright and clean with some light age-toning to the edges.
