Condition
In the original cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and minor rubbing to the extremities. Light bumping to the odd volume. Fading to the spine and the odd mark to the board. Front hinge starting to The Tidal Wave and Other Stories. Original dust wrappers are all unclipped. Wrappers are smart with light shelf wear and minor chipping to the extremities. Sunning to the spine and the odd small closed tear. Light loss to the head of the spine and the front board of The Tidal Wave and Other Stories, with a tear to the rear board. A pink stain to the rear board of Tetherstones. A 1" closed tear to the head of the spine of The Black Knight. Minor loss to the front board of The Live Bait and Other Stories. A 3" closed tear to the front board of Sown Among Thorns. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd handling mark. Light spotting and minor age toning to the endpapers of some volumes. Contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper of The Tidal Wave and Other Stories, Tetherstones, The Unknown Quantity, A Man Under Authority. Contemporary ink inscription and bookseller's label to the front pastedown of The Juice of The Pomegranate. Embossed L. W. stamp to the front endpapers of The Obstacle Race. Minor worming to the top of pages 181 to 205 of Rosa Mundi and Other Stories, this does not disturb the text.
