Newspaper clipping of the review also loosely inserted. A biographical work on the life of William Ritchie during his time in India. William Ritchie was Advocate-General of Bengal. He was the cousin of novelist William Makepeace Thackeray.
In a cloth binding. Externally, smart with some light rubbing and bumping in places. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and generally clean with patches of spotting. Small closed tear to genealogical table.
