Description

Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

Written by Gerhard Lindblom (1887-1969), a Swedish ethnographer and author of the principal accounts on the Akamba peoples, a Bantu ethnic group residing between Nairobi, Embo and Tsavo in Kenya. It is estimated that they comprise up to eleven per cent of the population of Kenya, with their population being over four and a half million. This is a very early expanded account giving a thorough insight into this tribe, carried out between 1910 and 1912.
