These stories discuss the background of several characters including David Copperfield, Oliver Twist, Pip and Little Dorrit. Many of the stories are told from the perspective of the character, such as 'The Story of Pip as Told by Himself'. With a frontispiece by Victor Prout. In a prize binding from Quilmes High School. The author, J Walker McSpadden, is probably best known for the work 'Robin Hod and His Merry Outlaws'.

Condition

In a full calf prize binding. Crest of Quilmes High School to the front board. Externally, smart with bumping to the extremities. Prize bookplate to the front pastedown addressed to one Mary J Ballantine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
