First edition. Arranged by the seasons, this final work of the author is a collection of scattered thoughts and aphorisms, sometimes expressed in verse, ranging from the mundane to the spiritual. Written by William Arkwright, or Sir Richard Arkwright, an English inventor and leading entrepreneur during the Industrial Revolution. Best known for combining power, machinery, semi-skilled labour, and the new raw material of cotton to create mass-produced yarn.

Condition

In the original blue paper covered boards. Externally, very smart and bright. Light shelf wear to the extremities and minor discolouration to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
