    Two volumes. Written by Sir Henry Rider Haggard, an English writer of adventure fiction romances set in exotic locations and a pioneer of the lost world literary genre. This set includes: Finished, 1920. With an illustrated frontispiece. The last novel from a trilogy about the Zulu kingdom set against the background of the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879 and featuring Allan Quartermain. The Ghost Kings, 1935. Nineth edition. A mystery-adventure novel following Rachel Dove, a British missionary's daughter, whose life is turned around when fellow teenager Richard Darrien rescues her from a flash flood.

    In the original full cloth bindings. Externally, smart with light wear to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Light fading to the spine of Finished. Original unclipped dust wrappers are sound with light wear and minor chipping to the extremities. Sunning to the spines and the odd small mark to the panels. Light loss to the spine and front panel of Finished with sympathetic repairs made to closed tears with tape to the internal side. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the odd spot. Minor age toning to the extremities.
