A scarce first edition copy of The Story of the Famous Players-Lasky Corporation, published in 1919.

The Famous Players-Lasky Corporation was an American motion picture and distribution company formed in 1916 from the merger of Adolph Zukor's Famous Players Film Company and the Jesse L. Lasky Feature Play Company. 

The volume is a complete story of the corporation which is proclaimed to be the world's greatest motion picture enterprise within the introduction, with insight into the production, the studios and learn with what care, skill and expense Paramount-Artcraft pictures are made. 

With illustrations and photographs throughout the text.

Condition

In paper wraps. Externally, generally smart with some bumping to the extremities and some tears to the spine. There is a stamp to the half title page of Pete Smith. End free endpaper is slightly stuck to the rear wrap. Pages are generally firmly bound and bright with the odd spot to the first few pages.
