Limited edition, numbered 173 of 250 copies signed by John Masefield to the limitation page.

'Reynard the Fox' has been critically compared to the works of Geoffrey Chaucer. 

Tipped in to this copy is a portrait of Masefield following the title page. 

John Masefield was an English poet and writer. He was Poet Laureate from 1930 until 1967. His best known novels include 'The Midnight Folk' and 'The Box of Delights'.

A wonderful example of this noted writer's work.  Presented in a lovely limited edition format, numbered 173 of 500 copies produced with hand-made paper, numbered and signed by the Author.

Condition

In the original quarter paper vellum binding. Externally, very smart. Bumping to the head and tail of spine. Spine has faded. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean.
