First edition. Very scarce. While out on his favourite chestnut, Jack Ranworth heard the cry of someone in distress. Written by James Blyth, a prolific British author recognised for his contributions to science fiction in the future war genre. Publisher's advertisements to the rear.

Condition

In the original green cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Minor splits in the cloth to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Light spotting to the first and last few pages. Previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown.
