In the original Italian. The second edition of this work. In a signed binding by Truslove & Hanson. A critical work on Saint Francis of Assisi, discussing his works and life. Assisi was an Italian Catholic friar, preacher, and deacon. Illustrated with a frontispiece, a vignette to the title page, and many in-text illustrations. Written by Giuseppe Lando Passerini, an Italian librarian. He is known for his studies on Dante, publishing works on the author, and founding the 'Dante Journal'.

Condition

In a half calf binding with cloth to the boards, a signed binding by Truslove & Hanson. Externally, smart. Fading to the spine. A couple of very minor marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
