Yotsuya Kaidan tells the story of Oiwa and Tamiya Iemon. The original was penned as a kabuki play in 1825 by Tsuruya Nanboku IV, and the plot sees murder and ghostly revenge.

Condition

In a full cloth binding. Externally generally smart, with the spine a touch faded and bumped to the head and tail. Ownership inscription to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
