First edition, first issue, with endpapers of Quinby Plates XII and XIII.

'Appley Dapply' is a series of charming and entertaining nursery rhymes written and illustrated by Beatrix Potter. 

The title character, Appley Dapply, is a brown mouse who takes food out of a cupboard in someone's house.

Beautifully illustrated in colour in Potter's typical style, with a colour frontispiece, and fourteen colour plates.

Collated, complete.

Condition

In the original publisher's paper covered boards. Externally, smart. A small chip to the backstrip. Very minor bumping to the extremities. A few light marks to the boards. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with some scattered spots, mostly to the first few pages.
